Three Sixty Recognizes April as Fair Housing Awareness Month

Three Sixty Recognizes April as Fair Housing Awareness Month

April marks Fair Housing Awareness Month, a time when we reflect on the history of housing discrimination and reaffirm our commitment to ensuring equal access to housing for all. Congress passed the Fair Housing Act in 1968, making it illegal to discriminate in housing based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or familial status. At the same time, we at Three Sixty Real Estate and 360 Management actively uphold these values every day—not just in April.

Fair Housing Awareness Month commemorates the passing of this landmark legislation and serves as an annual reminder of the importance of equitable housing practices. Despite 60 years of progress since the Fair Housing Act became law, our communities still face persistent housing challenges. Unfortunately, discrimination and inequality in housing persist across the nation. It remains critical to have ongoing conversations about Fair Housing — in our businesses, with our clients, and within our communities.

As you begin your real estate journey, it’s a necessity to partner with a real estate agent and brokerage that takes the values of Fair Housing seriously. At Three Sixty, we are proud to be a catalyst for positive change — working every day to build stronger communities where everyone has access to housing opportunities.
