Three Sixty REALTOR® Elizabeth Garrett has been drawn to animals since childhood. As an adult, she has done her part to alleviate the suffering of homeless and mistreated animals.
For years, Elizabeth has supported various animal rescues in the Lee County area. The top of her list is the Lee County Humane Society, an organization that provides a solution to the problem of stray animals in our community. They provide a safe, healthy environment where stray animals can receive food, water, bedding, and necessary veterinary care. Their ultimate goal is to have each animal adopted into loving homes and to impact the community through education programs.
When working as a photographer, Elizabeth began volunteering her skills to take good photographs of the animals. The Humane Society eventually asked her take over their social media account and website. Good quality photos of homeless animals bring greater community interest and make the animals more adoptable.
Elizabeth is no longer actively involved, but her commitment to animals continues. She donates 5% of each real estate commission to the Humane Society and other local animal rescues on a rotating basis.
