About Tonya Tyson

Tonya Tyson has been a NAR Member for over 10 years and truly believes that home is where your story begins. Before stepping into the world of real estate, Tonya earned her nursing degree from Auburn University. Caring for others has always been at the heart of everything she does. Her background as a registered nurse taught her the importance of listening, attention to detail, and staying calm under pressure—qualities that continue to guide her work with clients today.

 

Originally from Winter Park, Florida, Tonya met her husband Billy while they were both students at Auburn. Together, they’ve built a wonderful life with their two sons, Bryce and Geordan, daughter-in-law Lauren, and their beloved dogs—Remi, a sweet Labrador, and Lady, a cherished rescue pup.

 

When she’s not working with clients, you’ll likely find Tonya hunting for antiques, decorating a space, or bringing old furniture back to life. She also runs a local antique booth and never misses a good Auburn tailgate. Her love of all things home makes it a true privilege to walk with clients through some of their biggest transitions.
