Three Sixty agents strive to make the selling process smooth and to maximize the value of a seller’s home. They often make recommendations for the seller to make minor improvements before putting their home on the market. Recommendations can be to freshen up landscaping, do a deep cleaning, and depersonalize the interior of the home. Another option is to pursue staging services to really set the scene for the home’s potential. With our lifeSTYLED Three Sixty crew, we have seen staging turn a house into a highly sought-after product that sells faster and receives higher offers!
Many buyers have difficulty envisioning themselves in an overcrowded or vacant space, especially in open-concept or uniquely laid out homes. The lifeSTYLED ladies are miracle workers. I always tell them, ‘Everything you touch turns to SOLD!’

The Staging Process
The lifeSTYLED team works in occupied homes, vacant homes, and with spec homes for builders. Vacant houses can take longer to sell. Our crew fills the home just enough to give buyers a feel for its potential. For owners who want to do it themselves, lifeSTYLED prepares a reasonable to-do list for sellers, room by room. Many folks are busy these days, so the lifeSTYLED team can also do all of the work if needs be! They clear the clutter and arrange furniture to showcase a room’s size and features. This positions the home to sell quickly.
Recent clients of mine likened the lifeSTYLED team to magic elves sprinkling fairy dust on the property. It turned out great, received multiple offers, and was under contract within 4 days!

Proven Track Record with Spec Models for Lowder New Homes
lifeSTYLED has a proven track record staging spec model homes for Lowder New Homes. The relationship was exclusive to Three Sixty and the Summerlin and Camelot developments in Auburn and Opelika in the beginning. It has grown to include homes in developments in Montgomery, Prattville, and Pike Road. Lowder has found that Sarah’s staging work helps them to sell homes faster, and the relationship continues to new developments.
Sarah Brown and the lifeSTYLED team are skilled in designing a space that gives buyers a real feeling for the potential of the home. We have enjoyed working with them so much and we look forward to continuing our relationship in the future.

In this Market, Do I Need to Stage My Home to Sell?
The National Association of Realtors® (NAR) recently polled agents about staging. 23% of those surveyed said that staging raised offer prices between 1-5% compared to similar homes that were not staged. Fifteen percent of buyers’ agents and 18% of sellers’ agents said that it increased the dollar value offered by 6-10%! 82% said staging made it easier for a buyer to visualize the property as a future home. 31% of sellers’ agents said that home staging greatly decreased the amount of time a home spent on the market.
Everyone wants to feel inspired in the spaces where they work and live. The lifeSTYLED crew is here to stage each space so that buyers can envision it as their own happy place.

Is it Worth the Expense?
Sellers may question the expense of staging a home. We have found that the proof is in the pudding and the market is listening. “There’s an upfront cost whether we are designing and filling vacant homes or refreshing occupied homes,” Sarah acknowledges. “But often you have to spend money to make money. If anyone has trouble seeing the value of staging, we have examples of ROI. We wouldn’t have a business if it didn’t work!”
The housing market may be turbulent right now, but buyers are getting smarter. Their expectations have grown in terms of what they expect the seller to present. Sellers must separate their property from the rest because the first thing a potential buyer sees is the pictures online.

Looking at Your Home with a Buyer’s Eye
As a homeowner, it can be difficult to look at your property with a buyer’s eye. This is where lifeSTYLED comes in and shares expertise with clients. Often this means focusing on spatial recognition – showcasing a bedroom that looks small but actually nicely fits a king bed. And we always want to be sure the buyer can envision the room with their personal touch. We stage to SELL, not to live.
Staging is a specialized arena, requiring strategy, efficiency, and attention to detail. It differs significantly from interior design, where the process is more open-ended. The lifeSTYLED crew can stage an entire home, but often they focus on a few key areas. Living rooms and kitchens are the most popular since these rooms are where people spend most of their time. Owner bedrooms, dining rooms, and home offices are close second since many people work from home these days.
About lifeSTYLED

Sarah Brown and Three Sixty owners Nonet Reese and Tricia Young co-founded lifeSTYLED Three Sixty Inspired Interiors in 2018. It began as a way to help our clients with needs that fall outside of the traditional real estate role. We help our real estate clients with home staging when selling as well as design and sourcing needs after purchasing. We strive to make interiors and homes thoughtful, beautiful, and comfortable through staging and decorating. Our services have quickly grown to include commercial clients and builders needing help with specifications, selections, and furnishing model homes.
