Three Sixty is committed to our community, and proud of our long-standing partnership with the Auburn Chamber of Commerce. A vibrant organization focused on making connections in the community, the Chamber offers many ways to get involved. When the Auburn Young Professionals (AYP) program started three years ago, Three Sixty Co-founders Tricia Peterson Young and Nonet Reese saw a great opportunity for their younger team members. Since then, many agents have participated in AYP and benefitted from opportunities to network and learn from fellow Chamber members.
Our Relationship with the Chamber
Tricia serves on the Board of Directors of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce. Her close relationship with the Chamber opened so many doors for Three Sixty in the early days. She and Nonet have always encouraged team members to be involved so that they too can experience the difference of being part of this organization.
It would have been wonderful to have a program like AYP earlier in my career, and to make connections with people in my age group. I encourage our younger team members to get involved and make the best of it.

Three Sixty Team Shares First Time Homebuyer Tips with AYP

In a Lunch & Learn two weeks ago, Three Sixty REALTORS® April Coulter and Monica Byrd were on hand to give advice about and share their experience with first time home buying. Many individuals within the AYP group are buying for the first time or have recently purchased their first home. April and Monica shared tips and personal accounts of situations and experiences they have had, and they were thrilled to share the mission and concept to closing approach of Three Sixty. The smaller group setting was ideal. Members were able to ask lots of questions and come away with useful information.
April and Monica were so warm and welcoming, and they made sure to tailor the discussion to fit the needs of the audience. We appreciate Three Sixty – they lead by example and have been an enormous supporter of the Chamber from the start.

About AYP
The first event held for AYP three years ago had over 400 people in attendance. This unexpectedly large turnout indicated to the Chamber that there was definitely a need for the program. There is an “official” kickoff every January, but interested individuals can join AYP any time of year. Requirements are simple: employers must be members of the Chamber and the person must be between the ages of 21-40. Members can attend AYP only events, and since they work through Chamber members, they can attend general Chamber events as well.
The Auburn Chamber of Commerce is always looking for new ways to help its members make meaningful connections with the community. Monica and I were thrilled to be able to contribute to AYP with this session. We learned a lot about the group, and they gained valuable information about home buying and our local real estate market!

The program offers opportunities for professional development. Sessions include topics such leadership and networking skills, social engagement, and opportunities to work on service projects. With approximately 100 non-profits served in the community, the Chamber prioritizes a quarterly service project. With this project, the organization gives back and shows members ways to make additional connections in the community.
Upcoming Women in Business Event

We are proud to be the presenting sponsor for the second year in a row for the Chamber’s Women in Business event. Held at the Hotel at Auburn University, this year’s event features keynote speaker Janeese Spencer, founder of Venture Life Coaching. The event connects women in the community and will award an outstanding woman for her success in business. As a woman-owned business, this event is a perfect fit for Three Sixty, and we are very excited for it!
