Director of First Impressions
Michelle Held and her family have moved a lot over the years, and she remembers the feeling of finding the perfect home and the hopes and dreams that go along with each purchase or sale. She loves the progressive nature of the real estate business, as it is always evolving and expanding. With the buying and selling of homes, people are entering a new chapter of their lives and the adventures that are awaiting them are exciting to see. Michelle is thrilled to be part of a dynamic team that helps people make their transitions smoothly.
Originally from Alexandria, KY, a town 20 minutes south of Cincinnati, Ohio, Michelle met her husband in high school marching band and both of their families still live there. Michelle attended Northern Kentucky University but decided after two years that it wasn’t right for her. The next step was floral design and management school. This jack of all trades has owned her own floral design business and has years of retail and nonprofit experience. Michelle moved to Auburn in 2009 when her husband David accepted a position as a professor at the University. The couple’s daughter, Mary, is at Southern Union State, her son Michael is Senior at Auburn High School, and their “furry girl” Lucy is almost 13 and rules the house.
Michelle loves to work in the yard, read a good book and cheer for her Kentucky Wildcats AND Auburn Tigers, as well as nurture her passion in floral design. She is an executive board member for the Krewe de Tigris, is a member of the Church of the Highlands, and served as the past president of the Auburn City Schools PTO Council.
