Alex Johnson began tagging along with his father to construction sites from the time he was five years old, so it is no surprise that this Lake Martin native has chosen a career in the building industry. Alex loves being able to bring a family’s dreams to life, by matching the perfect family to the perfect home.
I have always loved the feeling of providing a homeowner what they want. Whether it be a new deck, a remodeled bathroom or now as a Realtor, a new home! I truly enjoy being part of the process from start to finish.Alex Johnson
Originally from Jacksons Gap, Alabama, Alex grew up on Lake Martin. Living less than 45 minutes from Auburn meant Alex was able to drive down for tailgating and football games throughout his youth. He loved being part of the growth of Auburn and Opelika.
While attending Central Alabama Community College (CACC), Alex worked for Interior Designer Phil Spraggins. He learned so much, and was exposed to a side of home design and construction that was brand new to him. After CACC, Alex worked full time for his dad once again. He knew his heart was in the home industry, and his lifelong work in the industry had provided him with a great foundation. With that knowledge, Alex took a leap and made a transition to pursue his real estate license.
Whether it’s dirt bikes, motorcycles, boating or swimming on the lake or hiking, Alex loves anything outdoors and is a bit of a thrill seeker. From skydiving to roller coasters, he’s always up for a challenge. Alex also loves to travel. He has taken trips to Alaska and Canada where he saw glaciers fall and saw bears and hundreds of bald eagles; a two week trip London, Paris, and Spain where he saw the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Lock Bridge, and The Louvre; and a two week trip to Jordan where he floated in the Dead Sea, rode camels through the Wadi Rum desert, and saw Petra By Night.
Alex loves spending time with his family, especially his young nephew Truxton. From helping him practice sports to preparing him for school, Alex hopes Truxton will always think of him as the Fun Uncle!
