Alex Barringer loves real estate. He believes that it provides a blank canvas where you build the life you want. Friends and family enjoying a good meal in the kitchen, a private den to dive into your favorite book or Netflix show, or a yard to fill with toys and memories with your kids.
His personal philosophy as an agent is to lead with empathy, passion, and drive. Alex prides himself in having strong emotional intelligence, passion for what he does and who he serves, and the drive to make it happen, regardless of what “it” is.
I love the concept of home, and how your everyday living space impacts your well-being as a whole. It’s also an opportunity for people to build wealth, and I love helping my clients find that for themselves.
Alex grew up in Katy, Texas, just west of Houston. But it was in Austin, Texas where Alex really began to make his own way, living and working there for five years. He worked as a canvasser for Clean Water Action, where he fought to protect waterways like Barton Springs and The Rio Grande. Then he joined a start-up as a sales rep working all the way through acquisition, and then to a managerial role when the company was acquired by GoDaddy. He led his team through over 600 closings in less than one year, giving him quite the experience in negotiating with high stakes.
When Alex’s wife got the opportunity to attend graduate school at Auburn for clinical mental health counseling, they jumped at the chance and have fallen in love with the town quickly. Alex loves to read, bake a good loaf of bread, go camping at Talladega National Park, have board game nights with friends, do yoga with his wife, and walk his two pups Hamilton (a great pyrenees) and Bentley (a mini aussie).
