In February, Three Sixty begins our celebration of the company’s newly established Core Values with Love Yourself month! The obvious core value for the month of Valentine’s Day is PASSIONATE. Each part of our company is filled with passionate professionals who love what they do every day. February is the perfect time to remind our team to take time out to care for themselves.
We all occasionally get disconnected from self-care. We felt it was important to remind our team to rest and care for themselves.

Getting things moving with a walking group
In the first week of February, the team began a walking group to encourage self-care through physical fitness. Everyone involved is logging their miles and at the end of the month someone will win a massage!
Eating Right
In the second week, co-founders Tricia Young and Nonet Reese brought in a speaker to educate the team on nutrition philosophies and the importance of good dietary choices. They are hoping the information will help motivate them and the rest of the team to make some mindful choices despite their busy lives.
Meditation and Journaling
Tricia and Nonet are passionate about mindfulness habits like meditating and journaling, and that’s what became the focus next. The Co-Founders shared with the team their favorite mindfulness and meditation tips, including the Calm meditation app.
This is a demanding job. It’s important to take 2-3 minutes a day to center yourself, bring a smile to your face, and hopefully relax your shoulders for a little while.

Relaxation with Massages
Last week, Tricia and Nonet offered the team chair massages in the office. This was a great time for the team to take some time to come in and receive the benefits of a relaxing massage.
Self Care for our Wallets
The focus of this final week of the month is financial wellness. We are a team of independent contractors. This means we are each responsible for setting aside our taxes and growing our own retirement. Tricia and Nonet are bringing in a friend from the financial world, Julie Melton, to educate and assist the team in making healthy financial choices for our families.
My real hope for this month is that it plants a seed in the minds of our team. No matter how much they have on their plates, it’s essential to take time to care for themselves.
