Three Sixty {real estate} Team Gives Haddie’s Home a Living Area Transformation

20170729-DSC_1050 copyTaking projects from concept to closing is the hallmark of full-service real estate and development firm, Three Sixty {real estate}. With a recent project at Haddie’s Home, a local crisis residence for girls, this mission continues with a transformation of a modest living space into a beautiful haven for the home’s residents.

As a respected and profitable real estate organization, Three Sixty strives to make a positive impact on the communities it serves and found this project through clients, Lee & Michele Danielly, Haddie’s Home board members.

“As women business owners, we not only saw the Haddie’s Home project as a great fit for our company, but also it was a great fit personally. We want to empower the girls at Haddie’s Home and make sure they know that with hard work women can succeed.”

HaddiesHomegraphicafterpicsThree Sixty donated its services to redesigning the Haddie’s Home living space from a miss-matched room with a masculine feel to a fresh and feminine family space with casual, chic flair. The real estate company started with a fresh coat of paint to create a crisp, clean canvas for new furniture, light fixtures, lamps and knick knacks.

“We wanted the renovation to be a surprise, extreme makeover style. The girls knew something was happening, but they didn’t know what. They left for the Motion Student Conference on Wednesday and when they came back we were able to surprise them with their new space! I think the floors and fireplace were the only things we didn’t touch.”

Elizabeth Rose, Director of Operations, Associate Broker and REALTOR®

At Three Sixty, it’s not just about selling real estate. The company was founded on a pledge to serve its community and is actively looking for new ways to give back. The Haddie’s Home project is just one of a series of projects the company is taking part in around the community.

“I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful donation you have made! The living room and dining room have been completely transformed. It is more than we could ever ask for.”

One Down, 11 to go!

Our team making the most of time at the Builders' Show!

Making the most of our time at NAHB

As this first month of 2017 comes to a close, I reflect on how the year has begun…

Each of us sets many goals at the start of every year! How are we doing? Have we started a daily checklist to confirm we are moving toward the goal? Have you forgotten why you wanted this goal?  Do you keep your written goals in front of you daily? Do you remember why the goal was so important to you?

Here’s to refreshing your goals!

At Three Sixty, each of the team members chooses ONE WORD for the year! At our Revolution meeting at the beginning of each year we share our words and we also decide on company words for the year!

Many come with words that mean very much both personally and professionally and some of us come with words that help us make the most of each day. Here are some examples… ACTION, FOCUS, GROWTH, KINDNESS, CONSISTENCY, ENOUGH.

teambuildersshow

NAHB in Orlando with the team

I must say that the first month is always tough… it involves a lot of travel, a lot of information and education and it flies by!

Week One we had our annual Revolution meeting. We are Three Sixty – it is one full circle! It’s only fitting that we have a meeting that we call a “Revolution.”

Week Two we are off to Orlando for the National Home Builder’s International Builder Show! It is amazing that this conference truly covers 2 Million square feet of meeting space at the Orange County Convention Center. There are sales topics, building code, plan design and development education sessions as well as universal design tours and let’s not forget… the newest and coolest products for the home!

Week Three we are off to New York City for one of our favorite (if not our favorite) real estate conferences of each year, Inman Connect! Inman covers all things real estate and so much more along with setting the standard higher for customer service and pushing the limits of technology that we can make the most out of each and every day in our business! Biggest topics this year were 1) incorporate some automation in your business; 2) teams truly allow all personalities to become real estate professionals and allow a bit of balance in each team member’s life; and 3) nothing is more important than face to face professional real estate process specialists – customer service wins every time!

We were so happy Britni Ingram was with us at Inman Connect this year!

Inman Connect NYC

Now that we are back to more of a normal schedule, it’s time to decide what the take away from all these education sessions will be and what we want to implement! Speed of Implementation is the only thing that can set you apart from the rest! Do it and do it well!

As we close these first 30 days of 2017, I truly hope each of you is making the most of your WORD!

On the Road Again – This time, Inman Connect in NYC!

IMG_6501.JPG copyThe past year has been full of hard work and lots of fun working with the Three Sixty team. I was so proud and thankful that Tricia and Nonet selected me to attend the Inman Connect conference in NYC as recognition of my hard work. Never have I been in a room with so many people who were so excited about selling real estate. It was amazing and made me want to come home and work harder!

This was my first real overnight trip without my daughter Anna, who is 20 months old. Nonet and Tricia made sure to keep me busy and they didn’t mind the early morning Facetime with a screaming toddler. The conference was the perfect place to keep my mind off of being away from my girl. Teams were part of almost every lecture and reminded me that I am so thankful to work in a great team environment. It was great to meet agents from other markets. I really enjoyed comparing notes with people from all over the country.

IMG_6470 copy IMG_6474 copySomething that was a bit of a surprise was that everyone there is still working!  Inman really makes it easy and acceptable to take care of your clients while learning about the latest trends.  There were always at least five agents hanging out in the sitting area of the ladies room working on deals back home (myself included!). There are a lot of amazing products out there that will make my job and my clients lives easier. You need to embrace them now before someone else does.  One of the many things I love about Three Sixty is we are always looking for the next great service we can bring our clients.

IMG_6478.JPG copyThis trip wasn’t all work though! Whoever said that Realtors are boring is so wrong!  Karaoke until 3am – enough said! And I am still dreaming about the Meyer Lemon Cheesecake at the end of my favorite meal of the week – lunch at legendary Tavern on the Green!

A huge thank you to Tricia and Nonet for taking me on this trip. I learned more than I can put into words and have a renewed passion for what I do everyday. I couldn’t ask for a better trip or a more fulfilling place to work!

Hollis Marshall – Realtor, Interior Designer, and Expert “Re-arranger”

Hollis_MarshallThose of you who know me know that I am passionate about Real Estate, but what you might not know is that I am also a registered Interior Designer! In my “previous” corporate life I worked primarily in Healthcare design, but I have spent the majority of my Interior Design career working in high end residential and custom nursery design. After moving to Auburn in 2011 and staying home for a bit with our three children, I saw that there was a real need for decorating and design at a reasonable price, so I began offering my services. It has been a wonderful experience working with clients in Auburn. My specialty is in re-purposing items my clients already have to maximize functionality and transform with style!

My expertise has been invaluable with my real estate clients. For folks selling a home, staging has become such an important part of the process and it is my specialty! For people purchasing a home, I am able to give constructive advice on how prospective homes can be modified to be the dream home so many people desire. Whether you need help with color schemes, paint selection, how to “shop your home,” how to redecorate for a set budget, furniture layout, refinishing furniture, you name it – I am here to help!

Nonet and I take on Las Vegas for the International Builders Show!

Photo Jan 20, 10 31 04 PMNonet and I recently took a trip to Las Vegas for the International Builders Show {IBS} 2016, and I would like to share a little IBS Insider Commentary/ Vegas Travel Guide by Tricia with you!!

First travel tip…. As business owners & moms with plenty of people back home who need us, Nonet & I always try to maximize our time at our locations and we have mastered that by not wasting a whole day for travel, especially when the trip is across the country. We took off late Monday evening and landed in Vegas around 10:45 – this wouldn’t have been so bad, as Vegas is just getting hopping this time of night, but we forgot about the terrible taxi line until we walked up to it! I’ve never seen a taxi line like this one. It took us about 45 minutes to grab a cab to the Caesar’s Palace! Apparently the extra long lines were from other people also trying to maximize their time – guess we aren’t so smart after all! So note to self: next year, we’re taking Uber or Lyft!

Upon arriving at Caesar’s we found yet another line, but things moved pretty smoothly and we do love Caesar’s – it’s a great central location that we recommend! It is close to many of my favorite Vegas locations.

Since we were responsible and headed straight to our room Monday night, we got up bright and early (well kind of!) and headed off to IBS for a full day! If you have never been, you may have never seen anything like this conference. The Las Vegas Convention Center is HUGE and people are everywhere! We attended several sales & marketing classes, as well as learning about new trends for 2016.

The EXPO was amazing and our favorite experience there was on a “Universal Design” tour that concluded at the GE Monogram booth. I personally have found my next dishwasher purchase. Trust me, for me to be excited about that is pretty impressive. And yes, for all you coffee drinkers out there, you have GOT to check out the GE Refrigerator with the Keurig in the door. Yes, I said IN THE DOOR! It operates through the water line in the fridge so you never have to worry about adding water to your Keurig again. AMAZING. Great new cabinet designs were also discovered, and the colors of the past new years are still hot – driftwood, grays and of course white!

Photo Jan 20, 10 27 25 PM

Don’t worry, we had plenty of fun too – when in Vegas, check out one of our tried & true favorites: Olives at The Bellagio. Tip: Make a reservation, but depending on the season, show up 1 hour to 30 minutes before and request a terrace seat so that you can enjoy the wonderful water show from the Bellagio Lakes! Some of our dining favorites at Olives are the tapenade they bring out with a variety of bread featuring a wonderful foccacia! Some of the other twists on traditional that we dream about in between trips are the tuna tartare & the dirty martini- be sure to order it with blue cheese stuffed olives and the rosemary sprig – we recommend Grey Goose – it will be served in the frostiest glass you have ever seen!

Photo Jan 21, 2 16 27 PMOne of our new favorites, for sure, is Giada at The Cromwell. The Cromwell was once Bill’s Gambling Hall – an eyesore on the strip – but now it is a trendy boutique hotel – wonderful, tucked away lobby, cozy casino and Giada’s Las Vegas flagship restaurant! So chic – love the decor and the food does not disappoint! It was so much fun to try some of my favorites from Giada’s cookbooks that I have made at home and to compare her version to my creation. Try her Rise & Shine juice and the Orzo Meatballs are at MUST!

My favorite gambling venues are The Bellagio (because it smells like flowers!), Paris, where it always feels like mid afternoon because of the beautiful blue sky and The Wynn, with the extravagant flower displays. But lets face it – they all take your money, so don’t plan on coming home with any!

More next time from the next trip – I had to repack my suitcase with snow gear this time… off to NYC for the Inman Real Estate Connect Conference less than 48 hours later!
