Three Sixty is proud to announce that our very own Michy Aja has been named to the exclusive group. The program recruits 20 outstanding people under the age of 40 who live in and love Opelika with the goal for the group to help shape the direction of the city’s future.  Members of the class are encouraged to think outside the box and are challenged to think of ways to make the city better and improve the quality of life.

Median Sales Price & Average Sales Price Reach Highest Level in Ten Years for the Month of November

The Lee County residential market reached its peak median sales price and peak average sales price for the month of November in the ten-year period of November 2004 to November 2014. Both the median sales price and average sales price had extensive growth in the past two years, allowing the current price to vastly surpass any prior peak prices in the ten year period. The current average selling price of $225,098 is 21.5% higher than the five-year average (November 2009 – November 2013) of $185,238. Additionally, historical data indicates that the median sales price and average sales price decline from the month of October to the month of November. However, from October 2014 to November 2014, the median sales price increased by 4.2% and the average sales price increased by 13.5%, outperforming historical trends. Along with high sales prices, our market also reached its lowest inventory level compared to any prior month in 2014. The current inventory consists of 770 homes on the market, while the second lowest inventory level in 2014 occurred in September 2014 with 800 homes on the market. Rising sales prices and declining inventory indicates that there is still much demand in our market.
