Homes for Heroes was founded in Minneapolis, MN at the beginning of 2002. In 2009, it grew to become a national organization that has since helped over 14,500 heroes and has given back over $22,000,000. Heroes include firefighters, law enforcement, military (active, reserves and veterans), healthcare and EMS workers and teachers.

The real estate company started with a fresh coat of paint to create a crisp, clean canvas for new furniture, light fixtures, lamps and knick knacks.

“We wanted the renovation to be a surprise, extreme makeover style. The girls knew something was happening, but they didn’t know what. They left for the Motion Student Conference on Wednesday and when they came back we were able to surprise them with their new space! I think the floors and fireplace were the only things we didn’t touch.”

The Evolution Continues with a New Role for Elizabeth Rose and the Addition of Sarah Buck

As we have watched our company continue to grow and thrive, a need emerged for staff members to take on office management roles. We are pleased to announce that REALTOR® Elizabeth Rose is taking on the role of Director of Operations of our Auburn office, and Sarah Buck has joined our team as Director of First Impressions & Social Engagement.

Elizabeth joined the Three Sixty team in January 2016, and has since then proven that she is truly the “complete package.” She has worked with various developers and home builders to bring neighborhoods to life like Biltmore Farms and Stonewood Farm. In her 12 years of real estate experience, she has worked in various areas of the business, but her true passion is in new construction. She is extremely well versed in custom home builds and construction lending and has done design work, marketing campaigns and sales. She is highly motivated and very organized, making it easy to see how she is a licensed real estate broker and REALTOR® in both Alabama and Georgia.

Sarah Buck is a native of Salem, Alabama, where small town life and her warm-hearted parents taught her that a friendly smile and a simple hello can be the start to any relationship. Sarah graduated from Smiths Station High School, and followed her older sister to Auburn University. She graduated in 2015 with an undergraduate degree in Public Relations and Marketing and has carried her energetic and sincere spirit from childhood and methodical nature from her education into her profession.

Originally from Lee County, Nonet Reese grew up in Auburn/Opelika and loves living, working, and raising a family here. Her career in Real Estate began in 1997 when she started working for a Real Estate development firm. Denim & Diamonds is an annual awards and fundraising gala hosted by the Lee County Association of REALTORS®. This year’s event raised almost $30,000 to benefit two local charities, Mercy Medical Center and the East Alabama Food Bank. Mercy Medical provides medical care and spiritual encouragement to people in Lee County who do not have access to ongoing medical care. Volunteers include physicians, Auburn University Students, members of the community and four staff members. The Food Bank of East Alabama provides meals to children, seniors and working parents who struggle to make ends meet.

As this first month of 2017 comes to a close, I reflect on how the year has begun…

Each of us sets many goals at the start of every year! How are we doing? Have we started a daily checklist to confirm we are moving toward the goal? Have you forgotten why you wanted this goal?  Do you keep your written goals in front of you daily? Do you remember why the goal was so important to you?

Here’s to refreshing your goals!

At Three Sixty, each of the team members chooses ONE WORD for the year! At our Revolution meeting at the beginning of each year we share our words and we also decide on company words for the year!

Many come with words that mean very much both personally and professionally and some of us come with words that help us make the most of each day. Here are some examples… ACTION, FOCUS, GROWTH, KINDNESS, CONSISTENCY, ENOUGH.

I must say that the first month is always tough… it involves a lot of travel, a lot of information and education and it flies by!

Week One we had our annual Revolution meeting. We are Three Sixty – it is one full circle! It’s only fitting that we have a meeting that we call a “Revolution.”

Week Two we are off to Orlando for the National Home Builder’s International Builder Show! It is amazing that this conference truly covers 2 Million square feet of meeting space at the Orange County Convention Center. There are sales topics, building code, plan design and development education sessions as well as universal design tours and let’s not forget… the newest and coolest products for the home!

Week Three we are off to New York City for one of our favorite (if not our favorite) real estate conferences of each year, Inman Connect! Inman covers all things real estate and so much more along with setting the standard higher for customer service and pushing the limits of technology that we can make the most out of each and every day in our business! Biggest topics this year were 1) incorporate some automation in your business; 2) teams truly allow all personalities to become real estate professionals and allow a bit of balance in each team member’s life; and 3) nothing is more important than face to face professional real estate process specialists – customer service wins every time!

Now that we are back to more of a normal schedule, it’s time to decide what the take away from all these education sessions will be and what we want to implement! Speed of Implementation is the only thing that can set you apart from the rest! Do it and do it well!
