She is a certified Military Relocation Professional (MRP), a program educates REALTORS® about working with U.S. service members and their families and veterans to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and to take full advantage of available benefits and support. One Down, 11 to go!

Our team making the most of time at the Builders' Show!

Making the most of our time at NAHB

As this first month of 2017 comes to a close, I reflect on how the year has begun…

Each of us sets many goals at the start of every year! How are we doing? Have we started a daily checklist to confirm we are moving toward the goal? Have you forgotten why you wanted this goal?  Do you keep your written goals in front of you daily? Do you remember why the goal was so important to you?

Here’s to refreshing your goals!

At Three Sixty, each of the team members chooses ONE WORD for the year! At our Revolution meeting at the beginning of each year we share our words and we also decide on company words for the year!

Many come with words that mean very much both personally and professionally and some of us come with words that help us make the most of each day. Here are some examples… ACTION, FOCUS, GROWTH, KINDNESS, CONSISTENCY, ENOUGH.

NAHB in Orlando with the team

I must say that the first month is always tough… it involves a lot of travel, a lot of information and education and it flies by!

Week One we had our annual Revolution meeting. We are Three Sixty – it is one full circle! It’s only fitting that we have a meeting that we call a “Revolution.”

Week Two we are off to Orlando for the National Home Builder’s International Builder Show! It is amazing that this conference truly covers 2 Million square feet of meeting space at the Orange County Convention Center. There are sales topics, building code, plan design and development education sessions as well as universal design tours and let’s not forget… the newest and coolest products for the home!

Week Three we are off to New York City for one of our favorite (if not our favorite) real estate conferences of each year, Inman Connect! Inman covers all things real estate and so much more along with setting the standard higher for customer service and pushing the limits of technology that we can make the most out of each and every day in our business! Biggest topics this year were 1) incorporate some automation in your business; 2) teams truly allow all personalities to become real estate professionals and allow a bit of balance in each team member’s life; and 3) nothing is more important than face to face professional real estate process specialists – customer service wins every time!

We were so happy Britni Ingram was with us at Inman Connect this year!

Inman Connect NYC

Now that we are back to more of a normal schedule, it’s time to decide what the take away from all these education sessions will be and what we want to implement! Speed of Implementation is the only thing that can set you apart from the rest! Do it and do it well!

As we close these first 30 days of 2017, I truly hope each of you is making the most of your WORD!

National Association of REALTORs Conference in Orlando!

nonetmagcoverTwo weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending the National Association of REALTORS conference in Orlando. NAR conferences are held around the country year after year, but it always special when it happens to be at Disney!

NAR is currently at a membership high of over 1.2M members strong. This year more than 50,000 REALTORS attended the conference. Our industry is having a very good year! The conference is FULL of wonderful relevant information for REALTORS all across the nation.

I began my conference with a half day seminar on Smart Growth in the 21st Century. This session was full of useful information for my everyday life in real estate right here in Auburn, AL. The next several days were packed with sessions from heavy hitters in our industry such as Brian Buffini, Bob Wolff and one of my favorites, David Knox. And you can’t go wrong when listening to the NAR Chief Economist, Lawrence Yun.

We were also inspired and motivated by speakers Lou Holtz! Colin Powell was our General session speaker – he was eloquent and humorous.

The EXPO is always exciting – you can find anyone who can help you to do anything in the real estate world! All of your favorite vendors are there and they always have a special gift just for you at the EXPO!

I have  the privilege of knowing so many realtors from across the country and it is so fun running into them each year at these events.

Realtors know how to have fun, and the night life is no exception! Several vendors invited us to receptions and some have STARS…. I was lucky enough to get invited to play FAMILY FEUD with the Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan! So fun! And we were front row for the Concert… TRAIN! All in all this was a wonderful time in Orlando with a few thousand of my closest REALTOR friends!

It’s almost time for Swing for Diabetes 2016!

Three Sixty is proud to be a Gold sponsor for the upcoming fourth annual Swing for Diabetes golf tournament, hosted by my sister Diana Ramage and Kendall and Celesta Simmons. The event will be held on June 20th at Moore’s Mill Golf Club.

Diana-RamageDiana’s personal struggle with diabetes didn’t stop her from pursuing a career in golf, which was a passion for her from the age of ten. National success in junior golf tournaments put her on the college radar as a young high school student.  Despite recruitment efforts by most all of the southeastern schools, Diana knew Auburn University would become her school of choice.  While playing on the AU Golf Team, Diana was awarded numerous  individual titles, including National First Team All American her senior year.  The Auburn University Golf Team was ranked number one at various times during Diana’s collegiate career.  The team also won two South Eastern Conference championships.  After graduating in 2005, Diana headed straight to LPGA Qualifying School where she finished in the top 15 and received her LPGA card.

Now a REALTOR and a valued team member here at Three Sixty, Diana was looking for a way to raise money to benefit research and support of others fighting diabetes. She teamed up with former Auburn football player and two time Super Bowl champion Kendall Simmons and his wife Celesta to create the Swing for Diabetes golf tournament four years ago. Like Diana, Kendall’s diagnosis of Type I diabetes in 2003 was only a minor speed bump.  The following year he won the Ed Block Courage Award for returning to football after being diagnosed.

Swing for Diabetes has been a huge success. The money raised this year will benefit the Diabetes and Nutrition Center at East Alabama Medical Center. This specialized department provides supplies, counseling and education for those who otherwise would not be able to afford those services.

Find out more at http://www.swingfordiabetesauburn.com/ and we look forward to seeing you at the event!

BP PAC Fun Run 2016 is a huge success!

FullSizeRender 2

Three Sixty was so proud to be a sponsor of this past Sunday’s BP PAC Fun Run at Auburn High School. Auburn High & Junior High Baseball and Softball Programs joined together for the fourth annual BPPAC EVENT, which stands for “Baseball Players Play Against Cancer,” and the Auburn event raises money to benefit East Alabama Medical Center Foundation Cancer Center.

The 8th, 9th, JV and Varsity Baseball and Softball teams include children of some of Three Sixty’s own. Each player, in fundraising around town, gave community members the opportunity to place a name in memory of or in honor of someone they knew who had cancer. Names were displayed on baseball signs all along the 5K route.

Opelika, Enterprise and Central teams will be participating in fundraising and as they play their games against Auburn during the BPPAC events this week. Although these teams will battle each other for a win on the field, they will join forces off the field in raising money for EAMC Foundation Cancer Center.

Honorary Cancer Survivors will be throwing the first pitch of each game throughout the event at both the softball and baseball games. Join us for a special ceremony March 9 between the Auburn and Opelika JV and Varsity Games for all of the teams and community.
